Most people have something they watch that they probably wouldn't admit to watching. It could be a terrible reality show or an extremely awful movie. But the fact that it's bad doesn't always make it less entertaining. Sometimes it makes it more difficult to stop watching. Zach Woods, who stars in the 2026 drama The Accompanist, knows exactly what that feels like.

Jordan Klepper has spent years finding comedy in American politics as a host of The Daily Show. So his answer to a question about shows that deserve more attention was bound to be interesting. He mentioned Tim Robinson and praised The Chair Company (2025) and I Think You Should Leave (2019), but then his recommendations took a decidedly British turn.

The 2024 period comedy-drama Rivals follows two television companies fighting for control of the industry, with loads of personal rivalries and complicated relationships getting in the way. Victoria Smurfit plays Maud O'Hara, who knows exactly how to hold her own as an actress. Maud is confident and fiercely independent, so trying to guess her favorite movie wouldn't be a simple task.

Melissa Barrera on Life After 'Scream' & Why Colette Ghunim's 'Traces of Home' Matters [EXCLUSIVE FULL INTERVIEW]
Three years after being dropped from the Scream VII production, Melissa Barrera revealed the one thing that would bring her back.

The Batman (2022) was a transformative film for the Caped Crusader, as it finally showed a version of the character we had rarely seen on the big screen. Relatively new to the vigilante life, the film focused on the detective side of his persona and gave us an incredible mystery that set up the world of Gotham City.

Spider-Man: Brand New Day (2026) has some genuinely creepy turns with its portrayal of Jean Grey and Peter’s increasing mutations, but things could have gone creepier if the film had taken more cues from the scariest Spider-Man variant. The film teases Peter Parker’s increasing transformation into a Man-Spider equivalent, giving him organic webbing and more enhanced abilities. In other adaptations like Spider-Man: The Animated Series (1994), Parker fully transformed into a human/arachnid hybrid.

Inde Navarrette, star of the 2026 smash horror hit Obsession, recently told JustWatch that the movie shares some similarities with 2009's 500 Days of Summer. While it might initially seem like an odd comparison, both films carry an identical emotional undercurrent, centered on men who believe they are in love, only to find themselves unraveling when that feeling is not returned.
