Making a successor to one of the most critically acclaimed shows of all time is no easy task, but Vince Gilligan delivers with this spin-off/prequel to Breaking Bad. It's much more of a slow burn, but each episode of Better Call Saul is captivating, leading to moments that have lived rent-free in my head for years. Watching all of the pieces of the plot fit together is captivating and spending more time with returning characters like Mike and Hector adds more insight to their roles. But really, this is Bob Odenkirk's show. How he didn't earn an Emmy for this performance, I'll never know.

While viewers may think that John Wick can only work if Keanu Reeves is involved, Ballerina shows that the series can still succeed without him. The action is still top-tier and features plenty of excellent practical effects and stuntwork that deliver all the thrills you would expect from a John Wick movie. It's undeniably slower, but Ballerina uses that methodical pace to flesh out several aspects of its already complex world. Even if it may not reach the lofty heights of earlier entries, Ballerina is still an impressive action film that fans of the genre will eat up.
