Noah Jupe's 'Avengers: Secret Wars' Role: The Best Character Theories, Ranked
A Quiet Place (2018) star Noah Jupe has just been confirmed for a secret role in the upcoming sequel Avengers: Secret Wars (2027). While we still don't know what the state of the Marvel Cinematic Universe will be post-Avengers: Doomsday (2026), the next film's title gives us a clear idea.
With the notion that Doctor Doom could destroy reality and reform it in his own image, it makes us wonder what role Jupe could have in a world that won't last forever. Thankfully, there are more than a few theories about who he could be based on the likelihood of past events and how he could bring these characters to life.
1. Franklin Richards

The most likely option for the undisclosed Noah Jupe role is Franklin Richards, as Jupe not only has a similar facial structure to Pedro Pascal, but it wouldn't be a shock that, in creating a new world, Doctor Doom would want to manipulate the ages of the Richards family and their history to suit his wants.
Considering the cosmic powers that Franklin has, it would make more sense if he had to be the one to restore the Multiverse, as he did in the comics, to be old enough to handle that power. Jupe has more than proven his range as well. So, taking up the mantle of one of the strongest Marvel characters ever would be perfect for him.
2. Skaar

We briefly saw Skaar, the son of Hulk, appear in the finale of She-Hulk: Attorney at Law (2022), but he had no speaking lines and was more ridiculed for his haircut than anything else. In Marvel Comics, Skaar is a warrior with a temper and doesn't always see eye to eye with his father.
Seeing Jupe bring such a complex character to life would be a blast, especially if Doom's Battleworld sees a part of the world where the Hulk is a leader of similarly powerful beings, as some potential concept art had teased. Plus, it would tie up a loose end that audiences have been dealing with for years.
3. Iceman

We're all excited for the new X-Men film, and while we've already gotten some casting announcements, that hasn't stopped audiences from speculating on the others we don't know about. In this case, with Noah Jupe added, people have started to wonder if he could be the next Iceman.
With this one, it's a coin toss, as the only way adding new X-Men would work is a closing montage highlighting the new MCU that comes after Doom's defeat. However, with a film that's exploring the past, it would be hard to add new mutants during the finale rather than celebrating what came before.
4. The Beyonder

A character who served as the catalyst for both Secret Wars comic events, the Beyonder is an incredibly powerful cosmic entity. When Doom stole the power of the Beyonders, he used it to create Battleworld, but since they aren't canon to the MCU, Avengers: Secret Wars could be a great introduction.
Jupe already has the look and the curls of the Beyonder, and it would be exciting to see such a young actor take on a role that demands centuries of knowledge and experience in an unassuming form. But the only thing that makes this unlikely is how it could muddle the story by adding yet another powerful being.
5. Loki

Loki has taken many forms and had many variants, and if Tom Hiddleston's iteration is retired due to being the only one with the power Doom would likely need, it's a great chance to start fresh.
We've seen a Teen Loki and a Kid Loki before, but it's rarely talked about how much we saw the God of Stories Loki, a cavalier twenty-something who did what he wanted and wasn't a villain but also wasn't a hero. Jupe could fit this role well, but that depends solely on Hiddleston's status, so it's not the most likely.
6. Iron Lad

Iron Lad brought together the Young Avengers and was later revealed to be a younger variant of Kang the Conqueror. However, he rejected his past and tried to forge ahead as a hero even if fate had other plans.
Jupe could be a fun revisit of the Kang angle without actually addressing it, since the MCU is still distancing itself from the narrative. But Jupe could easily carry the mystery of who he is and what his presence means as we enter a new era of the MCU. The only drawback of him not being in this role is that past events involving Kang actor Jonathan Majors make a return harder to tackle.
7. Nova

Fans have been wanting Nova to appear in the MCU for years, and it has never worked out. But that hasn't stopped them from hypothesizing that Jupe could become the galactic hero, even if it is the least likely. Realistically, Nova has the least reason to be in Avengers: Secret Wars, and unless he's teased at the end of the film when Doom is defeated, his debut makes no sense.
