Every MCU Earth ’Avengers: Endgame Encore’ Destroys, Explained

Leading up to the titanic Marvel Cinematic Universe film, Avengers: Doomsday (2026), Marvel Studios decided to re-release Avengers: Endgame Encore, which gave us a return to the spectacle of Avengers: Endgame (2019) as well as new scenes that are directly tied to the next Avengers film.

One of those scenes, and possibly the most important, saw us return to the TVA with Mobius M. Mobius and other characters from Loki (2021-2023), but as he goes through the motions of work, we see various Earths destroyed as the Multiversal Tree is dying due to incursions. But what are these Earths, and are some of them tied to other Marvel films?

Earth-400083

In a list of Earths that were caught up in this massive collapse, Earth-400083 was added to the list of terminated Earths. For those that may not know, this Earth is also the home of Eric Bana's Hulk from Hulk (2003). The last time we saw this universe was when Bruce Banner had gone into hiding in South America, and it was briefly teased that he had gained more control of the Hulk.

While all points lead to this Earth being destroyed, there have been conflicting claims that this wasn't the Earth that was destroyed at all. There could still be hope for this Hulk universe, but in reality, if the Multiverse is collapsing, it's not about surviving; it's about biding your time. For this universe, however, the Hulk is the only superhero available and is not prepared in any way to fight back against such a powerful threat.

Earth-15886

Another reality listed as destroyed was Earth-15886, which is famous for being the home of Josh Trank's failed Fantastic Four (2015) film. We don't know what Earth this one may have collided with or if it died on its own, but it marks the end of a universe that barely started.

We never got to see what happened in this reality, as it was meant to connect with Fox's X-Men films and start a new franchise. The film even ended with the team uninvited, Doctor Doom defeated, a massive new lab to work from, and the inspiration to call themselves the Fantastic Four and start saving lives. However, all of the drama surrounding the pre- and post-production of the film, as well as the performance, marked the end of this universe long before Avengers: Doomsday.

Earth-82111

A more recent Earth, Earth-82111 was marked as destroyed and was first introduced in What If…? (2021-2024). This was the Earth where, instead of Steve Rogers, Peggy Carter took the Super Soldier Serum and became Captain Carter. The story was similar to Captain America's, but with some mild shifts in the narrative, like Steve Rogers being both an Iron Man and Winter Soldier mix. Of all of the strange realities shown in What If…?, this Earth was the one that felt the most familiar, as it very nearly changed most of Steve's story to simply add Peggy, but the timeline was relatively similar.

With Captain Carter having spent the final season of the series with the Exiles, we don't know if she was on this Earth when it was destroyed. Considering she was also Uatu's favorite, he might have saved her. But for all intents and purposes, those that she cared about are no longer in the picture. Captain Carter, at this point, has already endured so much as she has explored the farthest corners of the Multiverse, and to know that she's now lost everyone she's cared about, if she wasn't there as well, will likely impact her on a deeper level than most.

Earth-10005 and Earth-1127

Of all the shown Earths that were colliding and collapsing, the one that was the most surprising and mysterious was the collision between Earth-10005 and Earth-1127. Earth-10005 was the revised Fox X-Men universe that continued after X-Men: Days of Future Past (2014), where that story ended with Xavier and Magneto as friends, as Beast ran the school. Dark Phoenix (2019) and The New Mutants (2020) were the last films in this canon, meaning it didn't end on a high note but was still making big promises, like Jean Grey's return and Mister Sinister.

Earth-1127, on the other hand, is an unknown Earth and could be tied to any reality that we haven't seen before. Unfortunately, every other movie and show has an Earth designation, so whatever world is facing the X-Men is entirely new to the MCU. That said, it could be anything from a slightly different take on an established reality to a world that is a complete shift from what we know.
