With its stylized action, gripping storytelling, and memorable dialogues, the Pushpa franchise has cemented itself as a modern action classic in Indian cinema. If you love rugged antiheroes, action-packed narratives, and larger-than-life storytelling, here are 10 movies that capture a similar essence.

    K.G.F: Chapter 1 (2018)

The K.G.F films, much like Pushpa, follow the rise of a fearless, rebellious hero from humble beginnings to criminal supremacy. In this first chapter, Yash’s portrayal of Rocky, a gold mine mafia kingpin, is as intense and charismatic as Allu Arjun’s Pushpa Raj, making this Kannada-language epic a must-watch.

    Vikram (2022)

Kamal Haasan’s Vikram blends brutal action and a gripping crime saga, much like Pushpa: The Rise. With a stellar cast including Vijay Sethupathi and Fahadh Faasil (who also stars in Pushpa), this Tamil film offers hard-hitting action sequences and a battle between law enforcement and a powerful crime syndicate.

    Nayakan (1987)

    Raees (2017)

Shah Rukh Khan’s Raees follows the rise of a smuggler-turned-powerful figure in Gujarat’s crime world. With a mix of action, drama, and mass appeal, Raees shares Pushpa’s essence of a protagonist challenging the system and rising against all odds.

    Kaithi (2019)

High-stakes pitches, game-changing ideas, and the sheer adrenaline of watching dreams get made or brutally shut down in real-time—it’s no surprise Shark Tank India has become a nationwide sensation. In just four seasons, it has joined the ranks of India’s most beloved reality shows, rubbing shoulders with Khatron Ke Khiladi, and Kaun Banega Crorepati. Read on to discover some other shows you can check out streaming online like Shark Tank India.

India has no shortage of trivia, skill, and talent-based reality shows, but Shark Tank India has managed to break the mould by tapping into one of the fastest-growing pillars of our economy—entrepreneurship. With more Indians than ever before chasing their dream of building a business, Shark Tank India offers something beyond just entertainment—it fuels the hope of turning ambition into reality.

But this hit reality show isn’t the only one inspiring aspiring founders. Shark Tank India is a part of a much larger global phenomenon of business based reality TV shows which includes more than 50 versions across the globe.

If you’ve binged all the latest episodes and are eager for more high-stakes pitches and game-changing ideas, here are some other shows that will keep you hooked.

    Shark Tank Around The World

Most people assume that Shark Tank India is simply an Indian adaptation of the popular US-based reality series Shark Tank or its British counterpart, Dragons' Den. But that’s not entirely true! While Shark Tank India, Shark Tank, and Dragons' Den all belong to the same franchise collective, neither of them is the original concept.

The first version of Shark Tank was actually introduced in 2001 by the Japanese reality show The Tigers of Money. Its success and unique format led to its adaptation as Dragons' Den in the UK, which later inspired Shark Tank in the USA—and from there, the format continued evolving and expanding across the globe.

Today, the franchise boasts over 50 international adaptations, including Shark Tank Brazil, Shark Tank Bangladesh, and many others. It even spawned Beyond The Tank, a spin-off series that interviews past contestants from Shark Tank USA, following up on their entrepreneurial journey after their initial episode has aired.

Reality TV Shows Similar To Shark Tank India

Shark Tank introduced the world to the thrill of business-based reality TV, but like any hit show, it set off a ripple effect—paving the way for a whole new genre of similar formats, each bringing its own spin to the world of pitches, deal-making, and business.

Shows like The Apprentice fostered a more competitive spirit among participants by pitting them against one another in high-pressure business challenges, with industry giants like Donald Trump, Martha Stewart, and Alan Sugar serving as judges. Meanwhile, LeBron James’ Cleveland Hustles aimed to revitalize struggling small businesses in low-income neighborhoods across Cleveland by providing them with investment opportunities and mentorship.

There are also niche business reality shows that focus on specific industries. Planet of the Apps gave tech entrepreneurs a unique platform to pitch their app ideas to celebrity investors like Jessica Alba and Will.i.am, while Restaurant Startup focused exclusively on aspiring restaurateurs competing for investments to fund unique dining concepts.

While Shark Tank India is the most well-known business-based reality show in the country, India has had several other entrepreneurial and business-focused reality shows that capture a similar excitement in different formats. MTV Dropout blended the thrill of reality TV with business challenges, giving young entrepreneurs—who had dropped out of college or corporate jobs—a chance to secure investments for their startups. Hunarbaaz: Desh Ki Shaan, primarily a talent-based reality show, also included a segment where Indian business owners could come and share their unique concepts to a nationwide audience.

These shows prove that there’s a business reality show out there for everyone, whether your interest lies in tech, food, fast-paced business challenges, or the inspiring journey of entrepreneurs turning bold ideas into reality.

Where to Watch Reality TV Shows Similar to Shark Tank India?

From solo outings to major MCU crossovers, the big green rage monster has had a varied cinematic journey. Here’s a ranking of every Hulk movie, from best to worst.

    The Incredible Hulk (2008)

Despite often being overlooked, The Incredible Hulk remains the best standalone Hulk movie. Edward Norton’s portrayal of Banner was intense, and the film delivered thrilling action sequences, including the final showdown with Abomination. It laid the groundwork for Hulk’s MCU journey, and elements from it—like Abomination and The Leader—continue to play roles in Marvel’s evolving storyline.

    Avengers: Endgame (2019)

Endgame introduced Smart Hulk, the perfect blend of Bruce Banner’s intellect and Hulk’s physical power. This evolution was a major turning point for the character, showing him at peace with himself for the first time. While he didn’t get an epic battle moment, his role in wielding the Infinity Gauntlet to reverse Thanos’ snap was crucial to the story.

    Thor: Ragnarok (2017)

Taika Waititi’s Thor: Ragnarok reinvented Hulk, showcasing him in a way never seen before. Instead of being a mindless brute, Hulk had a personality, a sense of humor, and a dynamic with Thor that made their interactions some of the film’s highlights. This version of Hulk, more intelligent and self-aware, added a fresh and entertaining dimension to the character.

    The Avengers (2012)

Mark Ruffalo made his debut as the MCU’s Hulk in The Avengers, replacing Edward Norton. His portrayal struck a perfect balance between intelligence and barely contained rage, making the character both intimidating and endearing. The film gave fans some of Hulk’s most memorable moments, including the legendary “Puny god” scene where he ragdolls Loki.

    Avengers: Infinity War (2018)

Hulk’s role in Infinity War is small but significant. After being brutally defeated by Thanos in the film’s opening, Banner struggles to transform into Hulk throughout the movie, showing the inner conflict between the two personas. While this disappointed fans hoping for a rematch, it set up Bruce Banner’s eventual transformation into Smart Hulk in Endgame.

    Avengers: Age of Ultron (2015)

Hulk’s arc in Age of Ultron is complex, exploring his growing emotional struggle. His romance with Black Widow was controversial among fans, but it added layers to his character. The film also gave audiences the incredible Hulkbuster fight, where Tony Stark’s armored suit battled an out-of-control Hulk in one of the MCU’s most thrilling action sequences.

Captain America: Brave New World (2025)

While not featuring Bruce Banner, Brave New World plays a crucial role in Hulk’s cinematic story. Harrison Ford’s Thunderbolt Ross finally undergoes his transformation into Red Hulk, a development long teased in the MCU. With Ross now the U.S. President, his shift into a monstrous figure adds a new dimension to the Hulk mythos, even without the presence of Mark Ruffalo’s Hulk.

    Hulk (2003)

Ang Lee’s Hulk had ambitious ideas but fell flat. The film aimed for a psychological take on Bruce Banner’s trauma, but its slow pacing and awkward comic book-style editing didn’t resonate with audiences. While Eric Bana delivered a solid performance and the CGI was groundbreaking for its time, the film’s overcomplicated plot and lackluster action made it a disappointment.

Captain America: Brave New World marks a new chapter in the Captain America saga with Anthony Mackie’s Sam Wilson finally making his cinematic debut as the titular protagonist. Introduced in the MCU as the superhero Falcon, he graduated to the shield when Steve Rogers retired in Avengers: Endgame. Since then, Falcon got his own TV series with Falcon and the Winter Soldier and now his transformation is complete in the latest MCU film.

Before you watch Captain America: Brave New World, here’s an MCU watchlist that takes you from Wilson’s introduction to his superhero makeovers. We also provide you with all the options to stream these movies online.

Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014)

Sam Wilson made his MCU debut in Captain America: The Winter Soldier, where he bonded with Steve Rogers over their shared military backgrounds. As the Falcon, he played a crucial role in aiding Captain America and Black Widow in taking down HYDRA after it infiltrated S.H.I.E.L.D.

This film not only introduced Sam as a loyal ally but also established his strong moral code and commitment to justice. His friendship with Steve would later influence his eventual acceptance of the Captain America mantle.

    Captain America: Civil War (2016)

Sam Wilson returned in Captain America: Civil War, standing firmly by Steve Rogers’ side against the Sokovia Accords, which sought to regulate superhero activities under government control. This film was instrumental in showcasing his unwavering loyalty to Steve and his growing friendship with Bucky Barnes.

The film also featured General Thaddeus "Thunderbolt" Ross, who pushed for the regulation of superheroes—a policy that will carry over into Brave New World, where Ross has ascended to the U.S. presidency and is looking to shape America’s superhero landscape, potentially bringing him into conflict with Sam Wilson’s Captain America.

    Avengers: Endgame (2019)

Steve Rogers’ final act in Avengers: Endgame set the stage for Sam Wilson’s journey to becoming Captain America. After returning the Infinity Stones and choosing to live a peaceful life in an alternate timeline, Steve handed over his iconic shield to Sam, symbolizing his trust in Wilson as his successor.

This emotional passing of the torch was a defining moment for Sam, who was initially reluctant but ultimately accepted his new role.

The Falcon and the Winter Soldier (2021 - Disney+ Series)

This Disney+ series is essential viewing before Brave New World, as it explores Sam’s struggles with accepting the Captain America mantle. The series follows him navigating newfound responsibilities, dealing with racial and political complexities, and confronting John Walker, the government’s choice for the new Captain America.

By the end, Sam fully embraces his new role, complete with an upgraded suit and shield, cementing his status as the new Captain America.

    The Incredible Hulk (2008)

While The Incredible Hulk might seem unrelated to Captain America’s story, it is crucial to understanding General Thaddeus Ross, who plays a pivotal role in Brave New World. This film introduces Ross as a government official obsessed with harnessing gamma radiation to create super-soldiers, resulting in the creation of Abomination.

Brave New World sees Ross as the U.S. president, and this time, he will also transform into the Red Hulk. Additionally, Betty Ross and Samuel Sterns (The Leader), both introduced in this film, will return, indicating a deeper government conspiracy involving Hulk-related experiments.

Khushi Kapoor and Junaid Khan starrer Loveyapa is winning hearts at the box-office this Valentine’s Day. The modern-day love story comically presents the dire reality of Gen Z’s dating struggles, giving fans a relatable, and entertaining watch.

Loveyapa has been garnering massive buzz and attention because it marks the long-awaited debut of Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan’s son, Junaid Khan, in Bollywood. With a fresh cast of new and upcoming actors, a wild and gripping plot, and a perfect blend of romance and comedy, Loveyapa is exactly what viewers needed this Valentine’s Day.

The buzz around Loveyapa is undeniable, thanks to its quirky romance and fresh cast. However, not many people know that the film is actually a remake of the blockbuster Telugu hit Love Today. Written and directed by renowned Telugu YouTuber Pradeep Ranganathan, the film follows a young couple who are forced to swap phones for 24 hours—what starts as a seemingly harmless challenge quickly unravels a Pandora’s box of secrets, putting their trust and relationship to the ultimate test in the most unexpected and hilarious ways. Not only did Ranganathan helm the project as a writer and director, but he also made his acting debut, starring as the film’s lead.

Love Today is actually an expanded version of App(a) Lock, a short film by Pradeep Ranganathan that first introduced audiences to the nerve-wracking consequences of swapping phones in a relationship. Originally a small-scale project released on YouTube, this short film marked a defining moment in Ranganathan’s career. The four-minute film went on to win the Movie Buff First Clap award, giving him the recognition and confidence to turn his concept into a full-length feature film. This success ultimately paved the way for Love Today, which resonated with a much wider audience and later inspired its Bollywood remake, Loveyapa. So if you enjoyed watching Loveyapa, you should definitely consider adding the Telugu original, Love Today to your watchlist next.

  • The Best Jurassic World Movies & TV Shows, Officially Ranked
    Shaurya Singh Thapa

    Shaurya Singh Thapa

    JustWatch Editor

The Jurassic franchise has thrilled audiences for decades with heart-pounding dinosaur action, groundbreaking visual effects, and high-stakes survival stories. While Jurassic Park set the gold standard, the Jurassic World era introduced a fresh wave of dinosaur mayhem. From blockbuster films to animated spin-offs, here’s how the Jurassic World movies and TV shows rank based on critical acclaim, impact on the franchise, and sheer entertainment value. We also let you know where to stream all of these titles online!

The upcoming 2025 film Jurassic World: Rebirth stars Scarlett Johansson, Mahershala Ali, and Jonathan Bailey along with an all-new creature cast of mutated dinosaurs. In anticipation of the latest installment, we bring you a definitive list that ranks every Jurassic World movie and TV Show.

    6. Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous (2020-2022)

DreamWorks Animation’s Camp Cretaceous gave a unique look at the Jurassic World timeline, following a group of teens stranded on Isla Nublar during the events of the 2015 film. While geared toward younger audiences, the show featured surprisingly intense survival elements, deep character arcs, and direct ties to the main films. However, its stretched-out narrative and occasional pacing issues keep it lower on this list.

    5. Jurassic World: Chaos Theory (2024)

A sequel to Camp Cretaceous, Chaos Theory shifts the story to a world where dinosaurs roam freely after the events of Jurassic World: Dominion. The show follows the original group of teens—now adults—as they deal with the real-world consequences of human-dinosaur coexistence. While it brings a more mature tone and deeper character development, it’s still early to determine if it will have the lasting impact of its predecessor.

    4. Jurassic World: Dominion (2022)

Despite being the culmination of both the Jurassic Park and Jurassic World trilogies, Dominion left audiences divided. The return of legacy characters like Dr. Grant, Dr. Sattler, and Dr. Malcolm was a nostalgic highlight, but the film’s sprawling story and focus on genetically engineered locusts instead of dinosaurs disappointed many fans. While it had thrilling sequences and some awe-inspiring visuals, it struggled to capture the magic of its predecessors.

    3. Battle at Big Rock (2019)

This overlooked short film, directed by Colin Trevorrow, serves as a bridge between Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom and Jurassic World: Dominion. Taking place a year after dinosaurs are released into the wild, it follows a family facing an Allosaurus attack during a camping trip. Despite its brief runtime, Battle at Big Rock effectively showcases the terrifying reality of humans coexisting with dinosaurs and is widely praised for its suspense and action.

    2. Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom (2018)

Fallen Kingdom took a bold approach, blending dinosaur disaster with gothic horror elements. The first half is a thrilling escape from an erupting Isla Nublar, while the second half shifts to a haunting mansion setting with the introduction of the terrifying Indoraptor. While divisive among fans for its dramatic tone shift and the controversial reveal of human cloning, the film’s stunning visuals and high emotional stakes make it one of the most unique entries in the series.

    1. Jurassic World (2015)

After a 14-year gap since Jurassic Park III, Jurassic World reignited the franchise with an exhilarating return to Isla Nublar. Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard led a new cast, while the genetically engineered Indominus Rex raised the stakes. The film successfully captured the awe and terror of the original while updating it for modern audiences. Though it follows a familiar formula, its massive box office success cemented Jurassic World as a worthy successor.

Spider-Man’s journey as an animated hero spans decades, reflecting his evolution as a cultural icon. From the cult classic Spider-Man (1967) to the latest Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man (2025), each show has redefined the beloved web-slinger for new generations, showcasing his versatility as both a hero and a relatable character. Here’s how you can watch every Spider-Man TV show streaming online right now.

How to watch every Spider-Man TV show in chronological order

Every Spider-Man animated series follows a different continuity. So, it’s best to watch them on their own, starting out from any of the series. For a more complete experience and to understand the evolution of Spider-Man in animation, you can stream the original 1967 series and then progress across the subsequent decades.

Spider-Man (1967): The original Spider-Man series was a trailblazer, introducing Peter Parker’s adventures to Saturday morning television. Known for its iconic theme song (“Spider-Man, Spider-Man, does whatever a spider can”), the show featured simple yet charming animation. It captured the essence of Stan Lee and Steve Ditko’s comics, with Peter juggling his responsibilities as a student and a hero.

Spider-Man (1981): The wall-crawler returned in Spider-Man, a straightforward adaptation of his comic adventures.

Spider-Man and His Amazing Friends (1981–1983): That same year, Spider-Man and His Amazing Friends introduced a new spin, pairing Peter Parker with Firestar and Iceman. Together, the trio fought iconic Marvel villains, while their camaraderie added a fun dynamic to the show.

Spider-Man: The Animated Series (1994-1998): Often considered the definitive Spider-Man animated series, Spider-Man: The Animated Series brought a mature storytelling approach. Featuring serialized narratives, complex character arcs, and faithful comic adaptations, it explored Spider-Man’s dual life as a hero and an ordinary young man.

Spider-Man Unlimited (1999): This 13-episode series was an ambitious, futuristic take on the hero, sending him to an alternate Earth dominated by animal hybrids. Though short-lived, it experimented with sci-fi themes and a unique art style.

Spider-Man: The New Animated Series (2003): MTV’s Spider-Man offered a more mature, CGI-driven take on Peter Parker. It continued from Sam Raimi’s 2002 Spider-Man film but struggled to find its audience, leading to its cancellation after one season.

The Spectacular Spider-Man (2008-2009): This 2000s-era hit earned acclaim for its balance of humor, drama, and action. This adaptation perfectly captured Peter’s life as a high schooler while delivering engaging storylines and dynamic animation.

Ultimate Spider-Man (2012-2017): This mega team-up of a show was a more comedic, fourth-wall-breaking take. It introduced younger audiences to Spider-Man’s world, blending action with humor. While divisive among older fans, it was notable for its crossover episodes with other Marvel heroes.

Marvel’s Spider-Man (2017–2020): This Disney original rebooted the character for a younger generation, focusing on Peter’s scientific genius and growth as a hero. It had mixed reviews but resonated with its target audience.

Spidey and His Amazing Friends (2021–Present): In 2021, Spidey and His Amazing Friends debuted as a preschool series, introducing toddlers to Peter, Gwen, and Miles. Its playful tone and simple storytelling made it accessible for Spider-Man’s youngest fans.

Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man (2025): Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man brings a fresh perspective to the beloved character. Set in an alternate MCU timeline, the series explores Peter Parker’s origins with Norman Osborn as his mentor instead of Tony Stark. Its cel-shaded animation pays homage to Steve Ditko and John Romita Sr.’s art. With Hudson Thames voicing the role of Peter Parker, the series promises a nostalgic yet innovative take on Spider-Man’s early adventures.

Mark Wahlberg has had a diverse cinematic career, ranging from his Oscar-nominated performance in The Departed to franchises like Transformers to his recent performance as a pilot assassin in Mel Gibson’s action thriller Flight Risk. Wahlberg started his career as a rapper under the stage name Marky Mark but since then, he has become one of Hollywood’s most profitable actors with roles in critical hits like The Fighter and Boogie Nights and action blockbusters like Lone Survivor and The Italian Job.

If you wish to get a crash course in the action-packed filmography of Mark Wahlberg, our guide below shows you all the best Mark Wahlberg movies and where to stream them online.

Which Mark Wahlberg movies should I watch first?

Mark Wahlberg’s acting debut came in the 1994 film Renaissance Man, but it was his role in the 1997 Paul Thomas Anderson film Boogie Nights that cemented his status as a serious actor. Playing Eddie Adams, a young man who becomes a porn star named Dirk Diggler, Wahlberg showcased his ability to tackle complex characters with depth and nuance. The film was a critical success and marked Wahlberg as a rising star in Hollywood.

Wahlberg quickly established himself as a versatile actor, capable of delivering compelling performances in both dramatic and action-packed roles. In 2006, he earned his first Academy Award nomination for Best Supporting Actor in Martin Scorsese’s The Departed, where he played the foul-mouthed Sergeant Dignam. That same year, he starred in Invincible, portraying real-life NFL player Vince Papale, further showcasing his ability to balance grit and inspiration.

Action films became a cornerstone of Wahlberg’s career. Blockbusters like The Italian Job (2003), Shooter (2007), and Transformers: Age of Extinction (2014) solidified his reputation as a leading man in high-octane, crowd-pleasing cinema. His collaborations with director Peter Berg on fact-based dramas like Lone Survivor (2013), Deepwater Horizon (2016), and Patriots Day (2016) further demonstrated his knack for portraying real-life heroes with authenticity and emotion.

Wahlberg also proved adept at comedy, starring in films like Ted (2012) and its 2015 sequel, as well as The Other Guys (2010) and Daddy’s Home (2015). His comedic timing and willingness to play against type earned him praise and broadened his audience appeal.

In addition to acting, Wahlberg is an accomplished producer. He has produced acclaimed television series like Entourage and Boardwalk Empire, drawing on his industry experience to bring compelling stories to the screen. His production company has also overseen several of his film projects.

Why is Boogie Nights the best Mark Wahlberg movie to watch?

Boogie Nights is Mark Wahlberg’s best movie because it showcases his incredible range as an actor, transitioning seamlessly from innocence to ambition, and eventually to despair. Playing Eddie Adams, who transforms into adult film star Dirk Diggler, Wahlberg delivers a nuanced performance that anchors the ensemble cast. Under Paul Thomas Anderson’s masterful direction, the film explores themes of fame, exploitation, and family, set against the vibrant yet tragic backdrop of the 1970s adult film industry. Wahlberg’s charisma and vulnerability made him a breakout star, proving his ability to carry complex, character-driven stories while elevating one of the decade’s finest films.

2024 was a big year for concerts in India. Global artists like Dua Lipa, Maroon 5, Ed Sheeran and Bryan Adams sold out their shows within minutes, while Indian stars like Diljit Dosanjh, Karan Aujla, and AP Dhillon made waves in the local music scene. This rise in live music has put India in the spotlight, and things are only getting bigger in 2025.

Coldplay fever has taken over the country as the British band performs five back-to-back stadium shows in Mumbai and Ahmedabad this January. For those who couldn’t win the BookMyShow ticket war—or just want to relive the Music of the Spheres magic—Disney+ Hotstar is here to fix you, and bring the stars right to your home. You can catch a live stream of their closing show at the Narendra Modi Stadium on January 26th on Disney+ Hotstar from wherever you are in India.

International artists Sean and Eleyanna will set the stage, followed by Jasleen Royal performing some of her Bollywood chart toppers like Ranjha and Din Shagna Da. Coldplay takes over at 7:45 PM IST for what promises to be an electrifying performance. While you wait for the concert live-stream, you can also check out the Coldplay: A Head Full of Dreams concert movie on Amazon Prime.

However, this progress comes too late for some iconic tours, such as Taylor Swift's record-breaking Eras Tour, which concluded in December 2024 after an impressive 149 show run. While the live shows have ended, fans can still experience the magic through The Eras Tour concert film, by streaming it on Disney+ Hotstar along with Folklore: The Long Pond Studio Sessions

  • Every A24 Movie in Order and Where to Watch Them
    Shaurya Singh Thapa

    Shaurya Singh Thapa

    JustWatch Editor

Founded in 2012, the indie studio A24 has transformed from a modest independent film distributor into one of the most influential players in modern cinema. Our detailed guide below offers you a glimpse through the diverse journey of A24 while also providing you with offers and options to stream every A24 movie so far on OTT platforms.

From Moonlight to Lady Bird: What are the best A24 movies to watch?

The company began its journey with Roman Coppola's A Glimpse Inside the Mind of Charles Swan III in 2013, but it was the provocative Spring Breakers that same year that first demonstrated A24's willingness to embrace bold, unconventional storytelling.

The studio's early years were marked by critically acclaimed releases like the sci-fi thriller Ex Machina, the real-life human drama Room, and the supernatural period horror The Witch, establishing A24's reputation for discovering unique voices and nurturing emerging talent. Their commitment to original storytelling and artistic vision began attracting established filmmakers and actors who sought creative freedom rarely offered by major studios.

A watershed moment came in 2016 with Barry Jenkins' Moonlight. The film's Best Picture victory at the 89th Academy Awards – in one of the most memorable Oscar moments ever, following the La La Land envelope mix-up – announced A24 as a major force in prestige filmmaking. Moonlight also secured awards for Best Supporting Actor (Mahershala Ali) and Best Adapted Screenplay, proving that independent cinema could achieve both critical and mainstream recognition.

The studio continued to build its reputation with distinctive films like Lady Bird, The Florida Project, Hereditary, and Midsommar, each contributing to A24's reputation for boundary-pushing content. Their keen eye for emerging talent has launched the careers of directors like Ari Aster, Robert Eggers, and Greta Gerwig, while also providing platforms for established auteurs to create their most daring work.

However, it was 2022's Everything Everywhere All at Once that marked A24's greatest triumph to date. The genre-bending action fantasy directed by Daniel Kwan and Daniel Scheinert became an unexpected box office phenomenon, grossing over $100 million worldwide and sweeping the 95th Academy Awards. The film's seven Oscar wins, including Best Picture, Best Director, Best Actress (Michelle Yeoh), Best Supporting Actor (Ke Huy Quan), and Best Supporting Actress (Jamie Lee Curtis), represented an unprecedented achievement for an independent studio.

A24's success extends beyond critical acclaim. Their marketing strategies have been revolutionary, creating viral campaigns and merchandise that have turned the studio itself into a brand.

The studio has also successfully ventured into television with acclaimed series like HBO’s Euphoria and Netflix’s Beef, demonstrating their ability to translate their distinctive sensibility across different mediums. Their expansion into international productions, such as the German-language Holocaust drama The Zone of Interest and the Korean-American romantic drama Past Lives, shows their commitment to bringing diverse storytelling to global audiences.

As A24 continues to evolve, they maintain their commitment to innovative storytelling while expanding their reach. Recent successes like the Australian horror Talk to Me and the Korean-American romance Past Lives prove that the studio hasn't lost its touch for identifying and promoting unique voices in filmmaking. With each new release, A24 reinforces its position as a cultural tastemaker and a crucial platform for independent cinema in an increasingly franchise-dominated industry.

There’s a new action-comedy anime in town and it’s called Sakamoto Days. The story of a legendary hitman-turned-family man who can't quite escape his past has captured audiences with its perfect balance of high-stakes combat and heartwarming domestic moments. Whether it's the incredible action sequences, the comedy, or the theme of a deadly professional trying to live a normal life, here are 10 anime series that share similar elements with Sakamoto Days. We also offer you the many options to watch them online on Indian streaming platforms.

    Spy x Family

The most obvious companion to Sakamoto Days, this series follows master spy Twilight who must create a fake family to complete his mission. Like Sakamoto, the protagonist must balance his deadly profession with domestic life, creating both hilarious and touching moments. The series masterfully blends action, comedy, and family dynamics in a similar fashion.

    The Way of the Househusband

Perhaps the closest in concept to Sakamoto Days, this anime follows a former yakuza boss who becomes a dedicated househusband. Tatsu, like Sakamoto, trades in his violent past for domestic bliss, though his old habits hilariously manifest in his approach to household chores.

    Assassination Classroom

While the premise is different - involving a superpowered tentacle creature teaching middle school students to become assassins - it shares Sakamoto Days' ability to balance action, comedy, and heartwarming moments.

    Black Cat

Following Train Heartnet, a legendary assassin who leaves his organization to live a more peaceful life, this series shares themes of redemption and leaving a violent past behind. Like Sakamoto, Train must deal with former colleagues who aren't happy with his career change.

    Gintama

Though set in an alternate historical Japan with aliens, Gintama's mix of intense action sequences and comedy mirrors Sakamoto Days' tone perfectly. The protagonist, Gintoki, is also a highly skilled fighter trying to live a normal life while taking odd jobs, often getting dragged into major conflicts.

    Bungo Stray Dogs

This series combines supernatural abilities with crime elements and features several characters with dark pasts trying to build new lives. The balance of serious action and comedic moments matches Sakamoto Days' style, while maintaining complex character relationships.

    Great Pretender

While focused on con artists rather than hitmen, this stylish series shares Sakamoto Days' knack for combining thrilling action with humor. The protagonist must also navigate complex relationships while dealing with dangerous situations from his chosen profession.

    Blood Blockade Battlefront

Set in a supernatural version of New York, this series captures the same energy as Sakamoto Days with its mix of over-the-top action and everyday slice-of-life moments. The main character similarly tries to maintain normalcy in a world full of extraordinary dangers.

    Hinamatsuri

Though more focused on comedy, this series about a yakuza member who becomes a father figure to a psychic girl shares similar themes about dangerous professionals adapting to domestic life. The combination of supernatural action and family dynamics creates a similar emotional core.

    Golden Kamuy

While more serious in tone, this series excels at mixing intense action with unexpected comedy. Like Sakamoto Days, it features skilled fighters dealing with their past while forming new bonds, and switches between deadly serious moments and humorous situations seamlessly.

    JustWatch Editor

Lily-Rose Depp has steadily carved a niche for herself in the entertainment industry, transcending the shadow of her famous and controversial father Johnny Depp, to become a formidable actor in her own right. With her dynamic presence and commitment to diverse genres, Depp has delivered remarkable performances in films and TV shows that highlight her growing versatility and depth.

The list below offers you a glimpse at the best Lily-Rose Depp screen credits and all the options to find them for streaming online.

Which Lily-Rose Depp Movies and TV Shows should I watch first?

Lily-Rose Depp’s first significant role came in Kevin Smith’s horror-comedy Tusk (2014), where she made a brief yet memorable appearance. She reprised her role in the spinoff Yoga Hosers (2016), a quirky teen adventure that allowed her to showcase her comedic timing alongside Harley Quinn Smith. While the film received mixed reviews, Depp’s charisma was evident, hinting at her potential as a leading star.

In 2019, Depp took on more complex roles, beginning with the Netflix period drama The King, directed by David Michôd. Starring opposite Timothée Chalamet and Robert Pattinson, she portrayed Catherine of Valois, the future Queen of England. Her nuanced performance added emotional weight to the historical drama, demonstrating her ability to hold her own alongside established actors.

Depp’s work in the HBO erotic psychological thriller The Idol (2023) further cemented her place in the industry. Directed by Euphoria creator Sam Levinson and starring Canadian musician The Weeknd, The Idol was a mixed bag that drew polarizing reviews from critics and was abruptly canceled by HBO. But Lily-Rose Depp’s central performance was the show’s saving grace for many.

As Jocelyn, a pop star navigating fame, ambition, and toxic relationships, Depp delivered a raw and layered portrayal that showcased her ability to balance vulnerability and intensity. Despite the show’s polarizing reception, her performance earned widespread praise for its boldness and emotional depth.

In 2024, Depp starred in Robert Eggers’ highly anticipated remake of Nosferatu. A reimagining of the 1922 classic, the film brought a haunting new depth to the story of Count Orlok and Ellen Hutter.

Beyond these standout roles, Depp has consistently chosen projects that challenge her artistic boundaries. In Voyagers (2021), she explored themes of human nature and morality in a sci-fi thriller set aboard a generational spaceship. Meanwhile, her performance in Silent Night (2021), a dark comedy about an apocalyptic Christmas gathering, highlighted her talent for balancing humor with dramatic stakes.

Depp’s career trajectory is marked by her willingness to take risks and explore varied genres. From period dramas to psychological thrillers and horror classics, she continues to evolve as an actor, consistently delivering performances that captivate and surprise audiences. With her role in Nosferatu setting a new benchmark, Lily-Rose Depp has firmly established herself as one of the most exciting talents of her generation.

Why is Nosferatu (2024) the best Lily-Rose Depp movie to watch?

Depp’s portrayal of Ellen was transformative, bringing to life a character caught between her desires and the devastating consequences of awakening a vampire. As Ellen becomes ensnared by Orlok’s curse and inadvertently brings a plague to her town, Depp’s performance reached career-best levels. Her ability to convey Ellen’s internal conflict, particularly in scenes where she succumbs to the vampire’s curse, was nothing short of mesmerizing. Eggers’ use of practical effects only heightened the impact of her horror acting, creating a visceral and unforgettable cinematic experience.

The DCEU brought Harley Quinn to live-action with Margot Robbie’s phenomenal portrayal, starting with Suicide Squad (2016). This movie introduces her as a member of a ragtag team of villains forced to work for a secret government agency.

Next comes Birds of Prey (and the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn) (2020), a standalone movie where Harley breaks free from the Joker’s shadow and forms an unlikely alliance with other women in Gotham City.

The Suicide Squad (2021) serves as both a sequel and a soft reboot of the original film, further fleshing out Harley’s chaotic charm as she embarks on a dangerous mission.

Harley Quinn Animated Series: A Standalone Gem

For a comedic and irreverent take on Harley, Harley Quinn: The Animated Series (2019–present) is a must-watch. This series, voiced by Kaley Cuoco, stands alone from other continuities and explores Harley’s break-up with the Joker and her journey of self-discovery. The series doesn’t tie into the DCAU or the DCEU, making it accessible to both newcomers and seasoned fans. Its mix of humor, heart, and action has made it one of the most beloved depictions of Harley in recent years.

    Joker Universe

In the 2024 crime drama musical Joker: Folie à Deux, Lady Gaga played an alternate version of Harleen Quinzel, simply known as Lee. With the movie following the events of 2019’s Joker, the psychological thriller depicted Lee as a psychiatric inmate at Arkham Asylum who idolises Arthur Fleck and his homicidal past. A musical romance and psychological tensions follow. The movie can be watched as a standalone instalment for Harley Quinn although it’s better to watch it after the first Joker movie.

DC Animated Universe Movies: Harley’s Animated Legacy

Harley also shines in several standalone DC Animated Universe movies. Films like Batman and Harley Quinn (2017) and Suicide Squad: Hell to Pay (2018) explore her criminal exploits and often pair her with familiar faces like Poison Ivy and Deadshot. These movies are self-contained and can be watched in any order.

2025 is set to mark a new chapter in DC Comics’ cinematic universe, with James Gunn and Peter Safran taking the reins to relaunch DC on the big screen, starting with Superman. The movie will be the first film to kickstart James Gunn’s larger vision of a cohesive, shared DC Universe, now officially known as the DCU.

But as we look forward to this exciting new era, it’s worth reflecting on the legacy of the DCEU, a franchise that spanned for over a decade, and introduced fans to a darker, grittier heroic universe. With standout releases like Man of Steel, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, and Shazam!, the DCEU brought unforgettable heroes and epic clashes to the forefront of pop culture.

The DCEU broke new ground in celebrating powerful female characters, giving fans the first-ever live-action Harley Quinn, portrayed by Margot Robbie. Her electrifying performance in Suicide Squad made Harley Quinn an instant fan favorite, leading to her own standalone film, Birds of Prey, where she took center stage as a chaotic yet empowering anti-hero.

Equally trailblazing was Wonder Woman, a cultural and financial triumph for the franchise. Directed by Patty Jenkins, it became the most successful female-directed superhero movie in its opening weekend, shattering box office records and inspiring audiences worldwide with its portrayal of strength, compassion, and heroism.

If you’re interested in watching all the DCEU movies while you wait for the new DCU movies to release, check out this streaming guide below.

    DCEU Movies In Chronological Order

If you’re looking to watch the DCEU movies in chronological order you’ll want to start with Wonder Woman, which takes place in 1918 at the same time as World War I. From there, you continue with Wonder Woman 1984, which amps up the action and expands on Wonder Woman’s storyline in the vibrant 1980s.

After the Wonder Woman movies, you move on to Man of Steel which introduces you to Henry Cavill’s iconic portrayal as Superman, followed by Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, where you see Superman and Batman form a camaraderie. This is followed by Suicide Squad which introduces fans to the beloved antiheroes, and includes Margot Robbie’s breakout performance as Harley Quinn. Continuing with the trend of epic team-ups you have Justice League next.

From there, the chronological order of movies lines up with the order the films were released in excluding Zack Snyder’s Justice League which serves as a non-canon extended alternative to Justice League.

DCEU Movies In Release Order and Where to Watch Them Streaming Online

Many fans prefer to watch the DCEU movies in release order due to the connectivity issues within the shared DC universe. While older films like Man of Steel, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, and Justice League are closely linked, newer releases like Shazam!, Birds of Prey, and Aquaman function more as standalone stories. With fewer interconnected plotlines spanning multiple movies, watching them in the order of release offers a more straightforward and hassle-free experience.

  • How to Watch All Nosferatu Movies In Order

Robert Eggers’ latest horror Nosferatu is a remake of the 1922 remake of the same name. With gothic visuals and compelling performances by Lily Rose-Depp and Bill Skarsgård, this film marks a new high among all other adaptations of Nosferatu.

As the first on-screen depiction of the vampire from Bram Stoker’s Dracula, our guide shows you how and where you can find every Nosferatu movie in order. We also offer you all the options to find them for streaming online.

How to watch all Nosferatu movies in chronological order

As each Nosferatu movie is a standalone vampire tale on its own, there is no proper order to watch these Gothic horrors.

However, if you wish to see how each adaptation has changed the storyline and visuals over time, it’s best to watch them in order of their release date. You can kick things off with FW Murnau’s 1922 original which plays out as a silent film, a pinnacle in German Expressionist horror. The film is unforgettable with Max Schreck as Count Orlok, a rat-faced stand-in for Count Dracula. The filmmakers had to avoid using the name and likeness of Dracula as novelist Bram Stoker’s estate had issues over licensing rights.

Then, follow up your Nosferatu binge by Werner Herzog’s colorful remake Nosferatu the Vampyre that features Klaus Klinski as the titular blood-sucking Count. The film was alternatively shot in German and English and both versions are available to watch online.

Before you move on to the next Nosferatu remake, have a brief detour to a fictional movie about the making of Nosferatu. In Shadow of a Vampire, Willem Dafoe plays Max Shrenck as an actual vampire whom director FW Murnau (John Malkovich) casts as the lead in his film (unbeknownst to the rest of his cast). It’s a bizarrely funny and hauntingly shocking exploration of the myth behind Nosferatu.

Interestingly, Dafoe also played the role of a vampire hunter in the latest iteration of Nosferatu. Starring Bill Skarsgård as Count Orlok, the new Nosferatu remake is directed by The Witch and The Lighthouse’s Robert Eggers. The film is a stylised recreation of the 1922 original proving how the German silent movie still remains relevant more than a century later.

How to watch all Nosferatu movies in release order

The list below offers you all the details you need to know to watch, buy, or rent every movie featuring Nosferatu. We also offer you the deals to stream, buy, or rent these movies online in India. We also provide you with any offers to watch these movies for free (if available).

Robert Eggers’ Nosferatu (2024) revives the classic vampire myth with a contemporary lens. Featuring Bill Skarsgård as the menacing Count Orlok and Lily-Rose Depp as Ellen Hutter, the film is praised for its gothic art direction, eerie atmosphere, and compelling performances.

If the haunting visuals and psychological horror of Nosferatu left you wanting more, here are ten films that evoke similar themes of dread, gothic aesthetics, and supernatural intrigue. Our list below also offers you all the options to find them for streaming online.

    1. Nosferatu (1922)

The original silent classic directed by F. W. Murnau remains an essential watch. With Max Schreck’s chilling performance as Count Orlok and its groundbreaking use of shadows and expressionist style, Nosferatu defined cinematic horror and vampire lore. It’s a must-see for anyone who loves Eggers' reinterpretation.

    2. Dracula (1931)

Bela Lugosi’s iconic portrayal of Count Dracula in Tod Browning’s adaptation of Bram Stoker’s novel set the standard for vampire films. Its theatrical atmosphere and gothic visuals paved the way for countless adaptations of the Dracula legend.

    3. Humanist Vampire Seeking Consenting Suicidal Person (2023)

This unconventional vampire drama focuses on a reluctant vampire trying to reconcile her existence with human morality. Matters get complicated when she develops an allergy to blood and befriends a morally troubled human. The Canadian film’s melancholic tone and existential themes offer a fresh take on vampire lore, making it a compelling parallel to Nosferatu.

    4. Let the Right One In (2008)

This Swedish vampire film focuses on the poignant and unsettling relationship between a young boy and a centuries-old vampire child. Its atmospheric storytelling and unique perspective on vampirism echo the eerie intimacy of Nosferatu.

    5. The Lighthouse (2019)

Also directed by Eggers, The Lighthouse explores isolation and madness in a remote coastal setting. With its black-and-white cinematography and psychological tension, it’s an excellent follow-up for fans of Eggers' atmospheric style.

    6. Bram Stoker’s Dracula (1992)

Francis Ford Coppola’s lush adaptation of Dracula combines gothic romance and opulent visuals. Gary Oldman’s portrayal of the titular vampire adds layers of complexity and menace, akin to Skarsgård’s Count Orlok.

    7. The Witch (2015)

Eggers' debut film about a Puritan family haunted by witchcraft shares thematic similarities with Nosferatu. Its slow-burn narrative, period setting, and haunting imagery offer a similarly immersive experience.

    8. Only Lovers Left Alive (2013)

This art-house vampire film by Jim Jarmusch follows two immortal lovers as they navigate the modern world. Its moody visuals and existential themes provide a thoughtful and unconventional take on the vampire genre.

    9. Crimson Peak (2015)

Guillermo del Toro’s gothic romance is filled with lush production design and haunting imagery. While not about vampires, its ghostly atmosphere and tragic love story will appeal to Nosferatu fans.

    10. Interview with the Vampire (1994)

This adaptation of Anne Rice’s novel features Tom Cruise and Brad Pitt as immortal beings grappling with existential despair. Its gothic aesthetic and focus on character-driven storytelling resonate with Nosferatu’s themes.

Nosferatu (2024) revitalizes a classic story with Robert Eggers' signature blend of historical detail and atmospheric dread. These ten films, ranging from timeless classics to modern reinterpretations, offer similarly haunting and gothic experiences that will captivate fans of Eggers' masterpiece.

Robert Eggers has cemented himself as one of the most distinctive filmmakers of contemporary cinema, with a focus on historical accuracy, rich storytelling, and atmospheric visuals. His films often delve into myth, folklore, and psychological tension, creating hauntingly immersive experiences.

From his indie breakout with The Witch to the ambitious Viking epic The Northman, Eggers’ work showcases a meticulous attention to detail and a knack for eliciting powerful performances. However, his latest film, Nosferatu (2024), stands as his crowning achievement, exemplifying his mastery of atmospheric storytelling. The list below offers you a definitive ranking of the best Robert Eggers movies and shows you all the options for streaming online.

    1. Nosferatu (2024)

Eggers' reimagining of the classic 1922 silent horror masterpiece is a testament to his ability to blend homage with innovation. Nosferatu captures the eerie, shadowy tone of F. W. Murnau’s original while incorporating modern sensibilities. Bill Skarsgård delivers a chilling performance as Count Orlok, fully embodying the grotesque and tragic nature of the vampire. His transformation through the use of hauntingly effective makeup effects elevates the film's visual horror. Lily-Rose Depp shines as Ellen Hutter, lending the character emotional depth and nuance. The film’s art direction, filled with gothic architecture and stark contrasts, creates an otherworldly aesthetic that pulls viewers into its macabre world. Nosferatu is a brilliant modernization of a classic, solidifying Eggers' place among great directors.

    2. The Lighthouse

This A24 psychological drama, set in the late 19th century, explores themes of isolation, madness, and power struggles. Willem Dafoe and Robert Pattinson deliver career-defining performances as lighthouse keepers trapped in a storm. The film’s black-and-white cinematography and claustrophobic framing intensify its sense of dread. With its mix of maritime folklore and existential horror, The Lighthouse is a gripping and deeply unsettling experience that remains one of Eggers' most unique works.

    3. The Northman

Eggers expanded his vision with this sprawling Viking revenge epic. Starring Alexander Skarsgård as Amleth, The Northman is a visceral tale of vengeance rooted in Norse mythology. Eggers' meticulous attention to historical accuracy, from the costumes to the rituals, adds a rich texture to the narrative. The film balances brutal action with meditative moments, creating an epic that feels both primal and introspective. While less intimate than his earlier works, The Northman showcases Eggers' ability to handle grand-scale storytelling.

    4. The Witch

Eggers' debut film, The Witch, is a slow-burn horror masterpiece that examines religious fanaticism and familial disintegration in 17th-century New England. Anya Taylor-Joy delivers a breakout performance as Thomasin, a young girl accused of witchcraft. The film’s minimalist score, period-accurate dialogue, and creeping dread make it an unforgettable exploration of paranoia and isolation. While not as polished as his later films, The Witch laid the groundwork for Eggers' unique voice as a filmmaker.

Robert Eggers has redefined the boundaries of historical and psychological storytelling in cinema. While each of his films brings something unique to the table, Nosferatu stands as his most accomplished work, blending homage and originality in a way that showcases his growth as a visionary director. With a filmography that continues to evolve, Eggers is undeniably one of the most exciting filmmakers of his generation.
