The acclaimed HBO series, Euphoria is coming to an end with Season 3. And with that comes fans saying goodbye to the characters they’ve followed since the very beginning—Rue, Maddy, Nate, Jules, and Cassie. But this also means parting ways with the actors playing them, aka Zendaya, Alexa Demie, Jacob Elordi, Hunter Schafer, and Sydney Sweeney.

But just because Euphoria is closing its curtains, it doesn’t mean that these actors aren’t booked and busy. From sequels to book adaptations and TV series, we’ve compiled all the available information as to what the Euphoria cast is doing after Season 3 wraps up on May 31st, 2026.

Zendaya (Rue Bennett)

As Zendaya says goodbye to Rue Bennett in Season 3 of Euphoria, she’s also saying hello to a lot of new opportunities. Because if there’s anything we know about Zendaya, it’s that she’s constantly hustling.

After Euphoria Season 3, Zendaya is set to reprise her role as Chani in Dune: Part Three (2026). That movie is set to be the final chapter of Denis Villeneuve’s trilogy. She’s also returning to the world of Marvel as MJ in Spider-Man: Brand New Day (2026) alongside long-time partner Tom Holland. Which leads us to another movie they’re starring in together, The Odyssey (2026), where Zendaya will be playing Athena.

One movie that’s a bit surprising to see on her upcoming filmography is Shrek 5 (2027). She’ll be playing one of Shrek and Fiona’s children, Felicia. Zendaya has done some previous voice work, like in 2021’s Space Jam: A New Legacy as Lola Bunny and as Meechee in Smallfoot (2018).

Alexa Demie (Maddy Perez)

When it comes to Euphoria it-girls, Alexa Demie always stands out. Her Maddy Perez has delivered iconic lines and looks since Season 1. But ever since Season 2, Demie has shied away from the public eye and acting.

Demie has been quoted saying that her frustrations with Hollywood typecasting has made it difficult to remain in the industry. During an A24 interview she said, “It was really hard, especially because I feel like a lot of the lead roles I would go out for would go to a blonde-haired, blue-eyed girl. Even for Maddy, I think some people saw her as that. They didn’t really see her as me.”

So what is Demie doing after Euphoria Season 3? She currently has no planned projects. But with the exuberant fan reaction we’ve seen for her character throughout the series, viewers are prepped and ready for whatever she announces next.

Jacob Elordi (Nate Jacobs)

Like Zendaya, Jacob Elordi has been keeping busy. He recently nabbed his first Oscar nomination for Best Actor in a Supporting Role for Frankenstein (2025) and caused quite a stir with the widely divided “Wuthering Heights” (2026). But what is Elordi up to next when he finally says goodbye to his Euphoria character Nate Jacobs?

Elordi is all aboard the ‘movie adaptations of popular books’ train! He’s starring as Hig in the adaptation of Peter Heller’s post-apocalyptic novel The Dog Stars (2026). He’s also starring in the adaptation of Cormac McCarthy’s 1968 novel Outer Dark as Culla Holme.

Hunter Schafer (Jules Vaughn)

When it comes to Hunter Schafer, Euphoria is where it all started for this actress. Her role as Jules Vaughn opened doors for her to star in The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes (2023), Cuckoo (2024), and Kinds of Kindness (2024). And going into 2026, she’s got plenty of projects in the books.

Schafer’s most recent release sees her starring as Hilda in Anne Hathaway’s new movie Mother Mary (2026). She’s also starring alongside the iconic Michelle Yeoh in Prime Video’s Blade Runner 2099 (2026) TV series, and in the upcoming dramas Cry to Heaven (2027) and Carlo Hintermann’s Fish

What we love about Schafer’s other upcoming projects is that she’s showing some clear love for the horror genre. She stars as Dolly in the upcoming horror thriller Palette (2026). And she’s got an untitled A24 horror film in the books alongside Josh Hutcherson. As if that wasn’t enough, she’s also lending her likeness and voice for an upcoming Hideo Kojima horror video game titled OD.

Sydney Sweeney (Cassie Howard)

When she’s not playing Cassie Howard in Euphoria or making headlines in her personal life, Sydney Sweeney is pretty busy. Looking forward, she has two projects scheduled for 2027 and then a bunch with no dates locked in just yet.

For 2027 she’s starring as Millie in the Paul Feig sequel to The Housemaid (2025) titled The Housemaid’s Secret alongside Amanda Seyfried. She’s also starring as a con artist in the upcoming drama I Pretended to Be a Missing Girl

As for her upcoming movies with no release dates, she’s starring in two dramas titled Custom of the Country and The Caretaker. On the sci-fi front she’s working on Split Fiction, and surprisingly enough, a Netflix adaptation of the popular anime franchise Gundam. She’s also rumored to be starring as Kim Novak in the drama Scandalous! alongside David Jonsson.
