Off Campus Season 2: Release Date, Plot, Cast, And More
Since its release earlier this month, Off Campus has taken the internet by storm, and there’s still more to come.
With a 96% critic score and 90% audience score on Rotten Tomatoes, the show has broken a record as the highest-rated combined score for any romance series released in the past year. And yes, that includes Heated Rivalry too.
While Season 1 was great as a standalone series, it’s starting to look like Off Campus will be in it for the long haul, with a second season already steamrolling on with production. Officially, there aren’t too many details yet, but here, we’re rounding up everything we know ahead of your next semester at Briar University.
Who Is In The Off Campus Season 2 Cast?
The good news is that the vast majority of the cast will be returning for Off Campus Season 2. This includes Ella Bright (Hannah Wells), Belmont Cameli (Garrett Graham), Mika Abdalla (Allie Hayes), Stephen Kalyn (Dean DiLaurentis), Jalen Thomas Brooks (John Tucker), and Antonio Cipriani (John Logan).
Another notable new casting is India Fowler, who will be playing the role of Grace Ivers in the sophomore season. It’s also worth noting that, while all the same characters are returning, Allie and Dean are going to be the leads in Off Campus Season 2 after the groundwork was laid for their relationship this time around. What Is Off Campus Season 2’s Plot?
As we know, the plot of Off Campus Season 1 primarily focussed on the first book in the series, ‘The Deal.’ However, it also incorporated elements of the third book, ‘The Score’, into the show, such as Allie’s breakup from her long-term boyfriend and what the book’s logline describes as her “wild rebound sex” with Dean.
That makes the Off Campus timeline a little more complex, but for the most part we can expect the second season to primarily cover ‘The Score,’ in more depth, exploring Allie’s and Dean’s deepening relationship despite their initial mutual desire for a no-strings-attached arrangement.
Like the first novel, ‘The Score’ also doesn’t shy away from heavier themes, with substance abuse and bereavement being key plot elements. Given that the TV series also tackled issues like domestic abuse and sexual assault already, we can expect these ideas to play a big part in Off Campus Season 2.
Still, although they are skipping ahead to book three, it has been all but confirmed that elements of book two will weave into the story in the same way that the first season laid the groundwork for book three’s storylines.
As mentioned, India Fowler has been cast as Grace Iver, a new character who will be appearing in the upcoming season. Fans of the source material will recognise Grace as the love interest of John from the second book, ‘The Mistake.’
So, while Off Campus Season 3 hasn’t been confirmed yet, it looks like they’re already thinking ahead about future adaptations. In this way, Off Campus is not unlike Bridgerton.
Is There An Off Campus Season 2 Release Date?
It has been confirmed that filming for Off Campus Season 2 will commence June 1, 2026 and run until September 18, 2026.
Last year, principal photography began on June 9, 2025 and finished on October 2, 2025. There was then a seven-month gap between the end of filming and the show’s premiere on Amazon Prime Video.
It’s safe to assume post-production will have a similar timeframe to again this time. So, provided that there aren’t any reshoots and they stay on track, we can expect Off Campus Season 2 to drop sometime between March and April 2027.
