Since breaking onto the scene with the fittingly titled Spring Breakers in 2013, A24 has firmly established its reputation as the studio for promoting exciting young directors and producing and distributing some of the most provocative, divisive and—most importantly—original films of each year.
After more than a decade in the game, the studio’s catalogue now boasts over 170 titles—and counting. They’re probably best known for establishing the idea of “elevated” horror—proving, with movies like Hereditary, The Witch, Midsommar and Pearl, that thematically rich and stylised genre movies could make serious money at the box office and leave an impression on the cultural zeitgeist.
In terms of dramas, their steadfast backing of first-time filmmakers, like Greta Gerwig (Lady Bird), Charlotte Wells (Aftersun) and Eva Victor (Sorry, Baby), has given the world some beloved modern classics. They’ve also put their name to more experimental masterpieces, like Andrea Arnold’s American Honey, the Safdie Brothers’ Uncut Gems, Clair Denis’ High Life and Johnathan Glazer’s Under the Skin and The Zone of Interest. In 2017, despite Faye Dunaway’s best efforts, they even took home a Best Picture win at the Oscars for Barry Jenkins’ peerless sophomore feature, Moonlight.
They repeated that trick in 2023 with the Daniels’ Everything Everywhere All at Once—a fine example of the confidence the studio has shown in funding uncategorisable projects, like The Lobster, Swiss Army Man, or the more recent Dream Scenario. With all those and so much more, A24 is now the place where varied and idiosyncratic cinematic voices go to be introduced to a wider audience. In this, they remain unparalleled.
With an impressive array of feature films already under their umbrella and plenty of exciting things on the horizon, A24 continues to serve up compelling new stories in an industry otherwise flooded with remakes and sequels. In the list below, you’ll find A24’s complete catalogue of features, organised by order of release date, up to the end of 2026—we will continue adding to this list as more projects are announced.
