I always want to tell the stories that mean something to me, and after learning about the American Revolution and Washington, I was blown away by the hero’s journey, origin story, and adventure that happened in his early years and shaped the rest of his life. It’s entertaining, it’s exciting, a true coming of age, mythic passage that really happened. You know the name Washington, but so many people don’t know how this person was forged. It’s a perfect way for us all to celebrate America together.
