'Off Campus' Season 2 Should Introduce Logan & Grace's Story - Here's How It Can
Prime Video’s Off Campus (2026) has confirmed that Dean Di Laurentis (Stephen Kalyn) and Allie Hayes (Mika Abdalla) will be Off Campus’ Season 2 leads. They take the mantle from Garrett Graham (Belmont Cameli) and Hannah Wells (Ella Bright), switching up the order of Elle Kennedy’s books. There, John Logan (Antonio Cipriano) and Grace Ivers’ (India Fowler) romance occurs second in The Mistake. Dean and Allie’s takes place in the third book, The Score. By introducing so much of their relationship and a character like Hunter Davenport (Charlie Evans), the show’s first season all but explicitly confirmed that Dean and Allie would be the next leads, even before Prime Video made the announcement.
Even so, Off Campus Season 2 will introduce Grace and, ideally, start telling her story with Logan. The show confirmed the former when Cipriano broke the news to Fowler that she would be joining the cast for the second season. And, honestly, it’s best for the characters and the show that Off Campus takes its time introducing Grace and building out the relationship between her and Logan, like with Dean and Allie. Knowing how much time The Mistake spans and the work that Off Campus has already done in adapting The Deal (Garrett and Hannah’s book) and some parts of The Score, there’s no reason to believe that the show won’t continue this momentum.
Logan And Grace’s Story Spans Two Semesters

Louisa Levy, Off Campus’ creator and showrunner, told The Wrap, “Every season is a semester, so it slows down the time.” Logan and Grace’s story, which spans two semesters and a summer in between in The Mistake, should do the same on screen. They have a whole arc that Season 2 can explore, well before the summer that Grace spends in Paris. One of the most memorable (and a personal favorite) scenes from that time is one that Cipriano has already teased. “There’s a really wonderful water tower scene from the books. I’ve been told that there might be some of that in there. It’s gonna be good,” he told Entertainment Weekly.
Regardless, that first semester, which would coincide with the timing of Season 2 picking up where Season 1 leaves off, leads up to the titular mistake. It’s then that Grace learns that Logan is seeing her while he still seemingly has feelings for someone else—his best friend’s girlfriend. Of course, there’s much more to the story, but that’s the crux of it. So, Grace takes some time in Paris to get to know herself—and dye her hair—ahead of her sophomore year. Levy reflects that in her comments to TV Guide: “Grace has a big journey to go on from the person that we meet at the beginning of her book to the person she becomes by the end. So we got to play with that a little bit in advance, and I’m hoping that we have the ability to go all the way.”
Ideally, that means seeing their respective complex friendships and familial dynamics explored on screen even before Logan and Grace are leads. It will also be so much easier to invest in the second-chance romance if Off Campus takes its time in getting to know them and loving them together before Logan’s big mistake. Then, the hopeful third season has the perfect opportunity to tell the next chapter of Grace and Logan’s story: post-Paris, sophomore-year Grace giving Logan a list of grand gestures to complete to prove his feelings for Grace are real.
‘Off Campus’ Is An Ensemble Sports Romance Show
Beyond the semester-a-season timing, it makes sense for Off Campus to start telling Logan and Grace’s story in Season 2. These stories are bound to overlap. Garrett, Dean, Logan, and Tucker (Jalen Thomas Brooks) live together and play on the same hockey team at the same college. Their lives overlap, so why wouldn’t their stories? It would be bizarre if the stories were more isolated. Off Campus is so refreshing because it recognizes the strengths of a good ensemble show, like One Tree Hill (2003), where stories continue beyond one season.
Off Campus doesn’t intend to be like Bridgerton (2020), where each season follows one book. It seems increasingly less likely that characters will fall away as frequently—if at all—as they do in Bridgerton. The whole point is that these characters exist in and interact with each other’s stories. The first season puts that in motion. Louisa Levy explained as much to Entertainment Weekly, saying, “We will always have a happily ever after of some kind, and then we’ll also have another love story that’s left hanging. So that’s the structure and the model that we’re building. And the reason for that is because this is truly an ensemble, and I want audiences to know what they’re tuning in for the following season. I want them to know who they’re showing up for and why, and what story needs to get resolved.”
Ironically, Off Campus Season 1, Episode 6, “The Breakaway,” which introduces Dean and Allie’s romance, also introduces Grace Ivers as a background character. She wins the first-place prize at Logan’s Hurricanes Fundraiser, which feels entirely intentional. Ultimately, all signs (for now) point to Logan and Grace’s romance being the one that leaves fans hanging at the end of Season 2. If so, I’m eager to see if Logan will try to make it up to Grace, only to learn that she’s gone to Paris, setting the couple up for their second chance (and a lot of groveling) in Season 3.
