Fans of YA shows, especially those where a girl is in a love triangle with two brothers, will be pleased to know that My Life with the Walter Boys (2023) is set to return for a third season on Netflix. The series, based on Ali Novak’s book, will bring viewers back to Silver Falls to see the next chapter of a story that has been such a success for Netflix.
It renewed My Life with the Walter Boys for a second season ahead of its series debut. It did the same with Season 3 ahead of Season 2’s release last year. People are clearly invested in the love triangle! So, like the previous seasons, the central question remains while heading into Season 3. Will Jackie pick Alex or Cole? I know who I prefer for Jackie!
Meet the ‘My Life With The Walter Boys’ Season 3 Cast
My Life with the Walter Boys Season 3 would be an entirely frustrating viewing experience if it didn’t continue the story of its still-unresolved central love triangle. So, it stars Nikki Rodriguez as Jackie Howard, Noah LaLonde as Cole Walter, and Ashby Gentry as Alex Walter. The season’s series regulars also include Sarah Rafferty as Katherine, Marc Blucas as George, Connor Stanhope as Danny Walter, and Jaylan Evans as Skylar Summerhill.
The recurring cast is quite large. It includes Corey Fogelmanis as Nathan Walter, Johnny Link as Will Walter, Isaac Arellanes as Isaac Garcia, Myles Perez as Isaac’s brother, Lee, Alisha Newton as Erin, Mya Lowe as Kiley, Ellie O’Brien as Grace, Kolton Stewart as Dylan, Natalie Sharp as Blake, Alex Quijano as Richard, Ashley Tavares as Tara, Dean Petriw as Jordan, Alix West Lefler as Parker, Lennix James as Benny, and Gabrielle Jacinto as Olivia.
My Life with the Walter Boys Season 3 will also add (at least, for now) three new cast members, per Netflix’s TUDUM. Chad Rook will play Mac, “a cool drag racer,” who strikes up a dynamic with Cole while they fix a racing car. Naveen Paddock joins as Eliot, Uncle Richard’s new intern. He’s described as “handsome and charming with an air of New York sophistication.” His arrival causes some tension for Jackie, who often feels stuck between New York and Silver Falls. Finally, Erin Karpluk will portray Hannah, George’s sister and Isaac and Lee’s mom. After leaving her sons with the Walters, she returns “and has a lot of bridges to rebuild.”
While the other two additions will likely have more to do with the younger cast, Karpluk’s addition reflects executive producer Melanie Halsall’s intentions to delve more into the adults’ lives in future seasons. “I love the teenage stories and what we do with those characters. But I think we have a lot of potential to tell stories that are intergenerational. I’d love to be able to do more of that in Season 3,” she told Netflix’s TUDUM. A character like Hannah returning to Silver Falls certainly has that narrative potential. It also feels like the right timing, given the cliffhanger with George.
What Is ‘My Life With The Walter Boys’ Season 3 About?
There is no season synopsis for My Life with the Walter Boys Season 3 as of June 2026. Even so, there is plenty to speculate about after how things ended in Season 2. Again, Alex and Jackie’s relationship doesn’t end well. Jackie still has feelings for Alex’s older brother, Cole, and vice versa. Alex even happens to overhear their love confessions, which is brutal for him but a real win for someone who likes Jackie and Cole.
To Netflix’s TUDUM, Halsall called that moment “a pretty big revelation at the end of Season 2, and we can’t just ignore that.” It also seems like the upcoming season will finally tackle a more definitive approach to the love triangle between Alex, Jackie, and Cole. “She also can’t keep bouncing between two boys. How we tackle that will be a really interesting challenge, and I’m looking forward to that,” Halsall shared. I love a well-done love triangle, even between brothers. I love The Vampire Diaries (2009) and The Summer I Turned Pretty (2021), but I also would love to see each character in a more solid place for a little longer than the past two seasons.
Plus, My Life with the Walter Boys has plenty of storylines to follow with the three of them. Alex is on the rodeo team, Cole is coaching his football team, and Jackie is dedicated to her academics with her dream of attending Princeton. I’m also interested in what’s next for Jackie and Grace’s friendship, as well as Dylan and Kiley’s relationship. My Life with the Walter Boys Season 3 also needs to answer what happened to George in the season finale. Was it a minor medical emergency? Is it something even more concerning? When will we know?
‘My Life With The Walter Boys’ Season 3 Release Date
As of June 2026, all Netflix has shared is that My Life with the Walter Boys is expected sometime in 2026. The streamer announced that the show went into production on its third season ahead of Season 2’s premiere in August 2025. According to Sarah Rafferty’s Instagram, the season wrapped production a few months later, in November 2025.
The good news is that there is already more of My Life with the Walter Boys to anticipate. The streamer announced a fourth season at its Upfronts in May 2026. “I know I speak for the writers, the cast, and the crew when I say that it is beyond exciting to be returning to the world of Silver Falls for a fourth season. We are all incredibly grateful and are thrilled to dive in,” Melanie Halsall shared in a statement to Netflix’s TUDUM. My Life with the Walter Boys Season 4 is expected to release on Netflix in 2027. We don’t know specific release dates yet, but it is reassuring that My Life with the Walter Boys will return for two seasons in consecutive years.
