Every Disney Movie & TV Show Coming In 2026 & 2027
As always, Disney announcements are stacked with widely anticipated releases well into the next four years. And while we don't always need sequels, a movie like Zootopia 2 (2025) proved that sometimes, they can be just as exceptional as the original. We don't have a release date for Coco 2 (2029) yet, but that's one we can be cautiously optimistic about. At the same time, with how great the casting is for the live-action Tangled (2027), we're also pretty jazzed about that, too.
From touching base with Earth's mightiest heroes again after Avengers: Endgame (2019), to long-awaited sequels like The Devil Wears Prada 2 (2026), here are all the Disney movies and TV shows coming in the next two years, as well as where you can catch them outside of theaters on Disney+.

The Devil Wears Prada 2 (2026)
Twenty years after the original The Devil Wears Prada released, 2026 feels like the perfect time for The Devil Wears Prada 2. Nostalgia and the need for comfort movies are bigger than ever before, which makes the stories from our past scratch an itch unlike any other. Plus, this one includes Simone Ashley, and if you're a Bridgerton (2026) girly like me, then you know what a huge deal this is.
With all key players from the original cast reunited, even the press tour is a doozy to bear witness to on social media. With Anne Hathaway's Andy Sachs back in the presence of Meryl Streep's Miranda Priestly, we're in for a real treat on all fronts, even if the movie isn't as great as the original. Early reviewers are mostly praising it, so regardless, we can be confident that it'll at least be a load of fun.
Toy Story 5 (2026)
I've gone from being super hesitant about Toy Story 5 to cautiously optimistic about it after the trailer. When we're in a place where it feels like tablets, social media, and soulless robots are taking over every form of creativity, the movie has the opportunity to do something really compelling with its means of introducing Lilypad, a tablet.
Part of the reason the Toy Story movies are so beloved is that they've followed '90s kids through pivotal points in our lives, allowing the process of growing up to feel a little less daunting. The nostalgia with Andy and his toys might be bigger than any Pixar film, so no matter how lackluster Toy Story 4 (2019) was, the fifth movie could perhaps redeem itself with a strong message about how various devices today rob kids of the more ordinary childhoods we knew.
Spider-Man: Brand New Day (2026)
It's been too long since we left Peter Parker all alone in a world where no one remembers who he is, so for that reason, I've been counting down to Spider-Man: Brand New Day since the credits rolled in Spider-Man: No Way Home (2021). With the introduction of various villains and the likely segue into Avengers: Doomsday, Brand New Day has the potential to be the Marvel property of the year.
Of all the Spider-Man adaptations, none have been as consistently great as Tom Holland's version, so ultimately, no matter what comes of the film, we can be sure of the fact that it'll be memorable regardless. Mostly, I just need it to heal me and restore everyone's memories because the thought of him spending more time alone is too much to handle.

Star Wars: Starfighter (2027)
Ryan Gosling has always been a beloved actor, but his work in Project Hail Mary (2026) as Dr. Ryland Grace has been so enormously healing that he's got a lot more people excited for a Star Wars property again. In general, I find that the more standalone films like Rogue One: A Star Wars Story (2016) are richer in storytelling, so it's easy to hope that Star Wars: Starfighter could be exceptional.
As much as we all adore the more popular characters, getting to know new faces is a treat that's welcomed in a galaxy far, far away. With the little information we have, the concept of Gosling's character trying to protect a kid on a mission is already enough to make it a wholesome delight through and through.
Bluey: The Movie (2027)
Since Bluey (2018) came to Disney+, it's not only been a treat for kids, but for the adults who've been watching it, too. It not only delivers something wholesome and genuinely sweet in every episode, but it's also a stark reminder of why we need more tender properties on our screens when the rest of the world is dark and dreary.
We don't have too much information on the movie yet, but it's going to be exciting nonetheless as an animated adventure that'll be thrilling for all ages. It's also not every animated show outside of the classics that adults can happily watch with their kids, but Bluey feels like an exception, and Bluey: The Movie already has ample potential given what we know from the show.
