All Tom Holland Movies Coming Out in 2026 & 2027
Given all the crossover between the cast lists of this year’s biggest movies (The Odyssey, Spider-Man: Brand New Day, Dune Part Three, Avengers: Doomsday), Tom Holland’s 2026 — in which he will likely appear in as few as two and as many as three of them — doesn’t look all that unique at first glance.
What the English star has that most others don't, however, is top billing in two of these mega-budget movies.
This has been welcome news to the actor's legions of fans around the world, as Holland shockingly hasn’t appeared in a new release since Uncharted landed in theatres way back in 2022. The actor’s slate of upcoming work after 2026 looks a little more foggy, but even in the unlikely situation that Holland fails to materialise in Avengers: Doomsday, the actor is already attached to a few rather tasty-sounding movies that are very much in-production. And, on the evidence of that post-credits scene in Brand New Day, an appearance in Secret Wars looks highly likely.
In the list below, you’ll find information on every Tom Holland movie I could find in 2026 and beyond (with the exception of a film called Beneath the Scarlet Sky which, at this moment in time, doesn't actually have a director attached).
Holland's first movie this summer was a trip to ancient Greece in Cristopher Nolan’s monumental adaptation of The Odyssey. This was the director’s first movie since gobbling up both the box office and the Oscars with Oppenheimer in 2023, so naturally the level of anticipation around it couldn't have been higher, and boy did Nolan deliver.
The movie, much like Dune Part Three, boasts one of the most stacked casts in Hollywood’s recent memory: Matt Damon stars as Odysseus alongside Holland as his son, Telemachus — a young man who must hold the fort on the Island of Ithaca until his father returns, keeping his mother Penelope (Anne Hathaway) away from all the pesky suitors who are looking to snatch his throne before he comes of age.
Two weeks after The Odyssey took over the world’s IMAX screens, Holland has had to compete against his own movie with the release Spider-Man: Brand New Day—and has effectively torn up the record books in the process. This one saw Holland’s webslinger go up against a very different kind of foe in Sadie Sink's Jean Grey while also working alongside Jon Bernthal’s Punisher for the first time on-screen — which was also a nice treat after seeing the actors share a few chummy scenes together in The Odyssey.
Brand New Day is already Holland’s fourth standalone Spider-Man feature and his seventh appearance as the character since his introduction in Civil War ten years ago. The story sees him going back to basics as he attempts to rekindle his bond with the friends who forgot him after the events of No Way Home.
At time of writing, Holland has yet to be confirmed for either Avengers: Doomsday or Avengers: Secret Wars, but that hasn’t stopped him from showing up before—an if that post-credit scene in Brand New Day is anything to go by, it's only looking more and more likely.
I, for one, am fully expecting him (or at least some variant of him) to come swinging in at some point (a la Endgame) but for now, we will just have to wait and see.
After those mega movies, Holland’s schedule appears to ease up a bit: all four of the actor’s upcoming projects (post-2026) on IMDB are listed as in pre-development, with no set date attached to any of them.
The most likely to be released next is an upcoming biopic on Fred Astaire, the all-singing, all-dancing Golden Age star. Funnily enough, Jamie Bell is also confirmed to be playing the legend in another upcoming movie titled Fred & Ginger, but with Paul King (Paddington, Wonka) directing this one, expect Holland’s to be the Capote to Bell’s Infamous, or the Prestige to his Illusionist — if you know what I mean.
What’s more, if King chooses to tap into (pun intended) Holland’s background in dance and ballet for the role — as he should and surely will — there is every chance that this one leads to an Oscar nomination. You heard it here first.
Another tantalising project that’s currently in the works for Holland is The Partner, an adaptation of John Grisham’s 1997 legal thriller that sounds a bit like a mix of The Firm and The Fugitive — in other words, pretty awesome.
The Partner will also be the first drama movie directed by Jason Bateman, who will likely harness his experience of directing episodes of Ozark to bring Grisham’s gripping story of a thieving lawyer who gets wrongfully accused of murder to life.
In more recent news, Amazon MGM announced in 2024 that they were developing a story about racecar driving siblings called American Speed, in which Holland and Austin Butler (Elvis) are set to star.
This one is based on another incredible true story: in the 1980s, two brothers became embroiled in a scandal after it was revealed that they’d been funding their successful driving careers through drug smuggling and money laundering. No director has come on board just yet, but the movie is being produced by Charles Roven, who worked with Nolan on the Dark Knight trilogy and won an Oscar for Oppenheimer — which really ties this list up rather nicely.
