The Love Me, Love Me Cast Have Some Hilarious Guilty Pleasures
Love Me, Love Me is a romantic drama very much aimed at the YA crowd, but what TV shows do the cast enjoy in their free time?
The story finds June (Mia Jenkins) torn between perfect student Will (Luca Melucci) and his dangerous best friend, MMA fighter James (Pepe Barroso). Alongside this love triangle, June is also dealing with her grief in the wake of her brother’s death, as well as starting her new school in Milan. Love Me, Love Me takes teen drama to a whole new level.

In stark contrast to their on-screen counterparts, it seems that the three leads prefer their entertainment light on angst. Speaking with JustWatch the trio shared the TV Shows that they can’t stop watching, despite how uncool they might seem.
The Big Bang Theory Brings Luca Melucci So Much Joy

Luca Melucci, who plays nice guy Will in Love Me, Love Me, went first with his guilty pleasure selection, revealing a passionate adoration for sit com The Big Bang Theory.
After Friends ended in 2004, audiences were left with a void in their lives, and then two years later, The Big Bang Theory arrived. The comedy series followed a group of comic book-loving nerds whose lives are changed forever when gorgeous aspiring actress Penny moves into the apartment across the hall.
The Big Bang Theory went on to be almost as popular as Friends, and although the show has now ended, this does not stop Luca Melucci from watching it again and again. Speaking to JustWatch, he shared: “When I see it on the TV, I have to see until the end of the episode”.
Like Friends, the series is fairly easy to pick up, with the overarching plot mainly based around the relationship status of Penny and Leonard, at least until later seasons. For Melucci, there is something about this group of characters that he really likes, explaining, “I feel really happy when I’m looking at them”.
It is always good to have a comfort show, and there are far worse choices than The Big Bang Theory.
Mia Jenkins Refuses To Be Guilty About Her Love of Gilmore Girls

When it came time for Mia Jenkins to share her guilty pleasures, she was having none of the nametag whatsoever, announcing, “I’m not guilty about it at all, so it’s just my pleasure,” before revealing two solid choices: Gilmore Girls and Modern Family.
Given how indecisive June is in Love Me, Love Me, it is nice to see that Mia Jenkins is much more capable of owning her choices.
Gilmore Girls seems like the perfect foundation for the June actor as it is full of drama and teen angst. The show follows mother Lorelai Gilmore and her teenage daughter, Rory, as they forever find themselves navigating troubling matters of the heart. Although these scenarios brought the angst and heartbreak, Gilmore Girls is also very funny, with Lorelai and Rory two very quick-witted women and the wider residents of their town, Stars Hollow, adding further humour with their small-town quirks.
A super easy show to nestle in with, it comes as no surprise to hear it is one of the shows that Mia Jenkins “could watch over and over and over.”
Watching Entourage Always Puts Pepe Barroso In A Good Mood

In typical, brooding bad boy fashion, Pepe Barroso, AKA James in Love Me, Love Me, doesn’t “usually watch much comedy”. However, there is one comedy-adjacent TV show that sticks out to him
“If there's one show I’ve watched so many times and just puts me in a good mood, it’s probably Entourage,” he told us.
Whereas both Mia Jenkins and Luca Melucci picked shows that remain beloved today, Pepe Barroso’s pick of Entourage is perhaps best suited to the guilty pleasure mantle. Initially released in 2004, Entourage, is essentially Sex and the City, but set in Los Angeles and with a quartet of male characters.
Upon release, the HBO show was a big success, with former President Barack Obama being one of the show’s biggest fans. However, when viewed through modern eyes, Entourage has come under fire, mainly due to its treatment of its female characters. This is a common critique of male-centric media from the ‘00s, but looking past these problematic elements, Entourage really is great.
Loosely based on Mark Wahlberg and his own entourage’s journey to break Hollywood, the show follows fictional actor Vincent Chase as he plays the fame game. Featuring cameos from half of Hollywood, Entourage is must-watch TV for anyone with a passing interest in the movie industry. Entourage was so dialled into the industry that it even predicted an Aquaman movie, and as fun as James Wan’s version is, I would love to see the in-universe version directed by James Cameron, with Chase as the lead.
