From Vikram Vedha to 3 Idiots: R Madhavan’s multi-lingual track record
As a film actor, Madhavan found his early fame in Tamil cinema with Mani Ratnam’s timeless rom-com Alaipayuthey (later remade as Saathiya in Hindi). The 2000 classic found Madhavan and Shalini playing a married couple as they discover the nuances of urban love and maturity after they elope.
